Had the pleasure of chatting with Chef Asha Gomez of Cardamom Hill at the opening Toast for the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival on May 11, 2012. What a lovely person and so down-to-earth. She and I began to talk about how no matter where you are in the world, there is something special about the food in the Southern region of any country as well as the people.
